Jenn Taylor-Skinner

Well, hello there! My name is Jenn and I'm the host of The Electorette Podcast. If you've listened, yes - that is my high-pitched, unsure voice interviewing some pretty bad-ass, brilliant women. To be fair, I'm new at this thing, hence the mild note of timidity in my voice. But as I connect with the more and more strong, amazing women on my podcast, I gain greater confidence; these conversations have been a comforting element in my life and reassure me that I'm not alone "in this thing." And by "this thing" I mean, the hot mess that is our current administration.

Like many of you, I was driven to "do something" after the 2016 election. The "something" I did was to launch this podcast. My aim with The Electorette was not to analyze every single tweet; nor to rant ad nauseum about just how unhinged the voice behind said tweets are. What I do  want to accomplish is further the sense of community and strength experienced during the Women's Marches around the world, provide some solutions for getting out of this mess and to bring brilliant minds (lady minds) together, so that together we can move towards creating the open, welcoming democracy that we know America truly is. #TheFutureIsFemale
